The promenade
This shady walk, lined with aromatic plants and stonecrops, its stone benches offering a welcome haven of freshness in the summer, presents some of the favourite varieties Moroccans grow in their garden. First and foremost is the bougainvillea of course, a creeper that adorns walls across the city of Tangiers and covers them with huge wreaths of flamboyant blossoms.
